yes people who run SC use then but the tuning of it is really a pain, much easier just going with the 7th injector

I do indeed run Supra injectors. 315cc from a late 80's NA model. Greenish yellow in color.

Why are you curious about this?

yeah i am actually kinda curious in running supra injectors, do you plan on boosting, or are you trying to go the N/A route.

I'm running supra injectors as well. But mine are from a 2jzge motor, brown top colored. plug and play, no need to splice any wires and the motor ran great right after plugging them in and no tune.

Its either larger injectors or a 7th. Without it, you will not be getting the smooth running power plant you should be.

What's the point if the engine isn't SC'd? Need more air too if you want to make HP.

That's what I was think'in. The OP didn't state he was s/c. If I was a gambling I'd almost put money on that he's not based on his statement " anyone know if its possible" . I maybe wrong, but did not wanna lead the op to believe its possible if not s/c. Just curious.

Best regards.......... 8sm.

i was actaully surfin the net and saw a vid of someone with Supra Injectors in there 4R. do you need a supercharger in order to get them?

I don't see the need to pay for something that's overkill which bigger injectors are on an otherwise stock engine. The stock injectors suppossedly can handle another 100hp with no problems so really there is no pluses to adding Supra injectors.

Do you NEED a supercharger? No.

Is there a reason to use them without a supercharger? I feel pretty confident in saying "no" to that as well.

If anyone else reading this is curious, I plan on switching to the 7th Injector setup whenever I have an extra $1,000 laying around. Tuning these 6 has been an uphill battle for me. My buddy running the 7th injector is so close to perfect all throughout the RPM range it's sickening.

right, unless you do other mods in conjunction your engine can only use so much fuel at once, and at this point i wouldn't say the injectors are the bottle neck right now, so why drop 1k just to be ricer?:zoom:

alrighty then. i was just a lil curious about the injectors. thanks for the help though guys. appreciate it

are you running an aftermarket ecu? or other heavy mods? im curious myself and am wondering since a few people on the forums said they've had no issues with them plug and play.

also, after talking to URD today they recommended i not go with a smaller s/c pulley, even with thier 7th injector kit, due to being at sea level with watery 91 octane gas. it was very honest of him to tell me that instead of trying to sell me a pulley anyways.

which brings me to this: how running supra injectors as well as the 7th injector kit??? hopefully compensating and adding up to allow a smaller pulley. compared to the kit you can pick up the injectors pretty cheap any day of the week, and if they still make a difference its a much better hp/$ ratio than the kit. to me if i already spend $1500 on the 7th, pulleys and a tune, another $200 for even more power is a no brainer for me personally to run them both. also seems like if you are already piggybacked with the 7IK that the supra injectors shouldnt be any more hassle even if they do need to be tuned since you will already be doing that.

what do y'all think??? thanks for the info guys!
