Supra injectors on a SC

Hey guys, I've been trying to look up some information on a sc set up but I'm a bit confused.

On another fb page I saw that people recommend to put on Supra injectors if you have a sc without any fuel upgrades and it fixes or helps with the pinging issue.

Does anyone know if this is true? I would love to buy a sc but I want to know what I can do to fix the pinging if I do get that issue

The pinging is not from loss of fuel. It's from low quality fuel. Meth injection is what you want to look into. If running the smaller pulley with more boost than yes more fuel will help.

Larger injectors would require something to tune them with and a 190lph fuel pump.

So if I run 91 octane on the stock injectors I should be ok? I keep reading that the oem injectors were made to work with the TRD sc, but it's confusing because everyone always says to do the URD 7th injector

The trd SC was designed to run on a stock motor. If you add the pulley for more boost the 7th is needed to keep up.

Im running mine with the stock injectors and originsl pulley. The only thing i did was use two step cooler spark plugs. Still runs great and pulls pretty good without a 2.1 pulley and 7th but ive been wanting one...

To me the stock injectors seem big enough for the supercharger but I live in Denver at 5k feet. At wide open throttle in 4th Gear I'm pulling 11.5:1 afr with no 7TH injector. I am running a 2.0 pulley. The problem is part throttle boost the ecm tries to hold 14.7:1. That to me is where a piggyback is needed, and for sea level additional fuel. With my water meth on the afr plummets and pinging stops. I personally would start with progressive water meth and a afr gauge and see how things go.

Thanks for the heads, sounds like I might be running this set up too. Maybe I'll do the URD later on so now I'll try to get my hands on a sc
