Surf Look Alike?

Has anyone seen a 3rd gen surf look alike? I can't find a picture, but the other week I saw a 4runner with the two tone paint and 4RUNNER written on the lower rear door. It looked like a surf, but I'm pretty sure it was a 96-98. Been looking for an example, but can't find anything.

Edit: nevermind, I'm sure you know that, as yours has it. It may be an import? Or someone liked the look and did it themselves.

I've seen pics of 4runners that had things like the SSR-G spoiler, and folding mirrors, clear lenses, etc added, but nothing like what you've described. FYI, the "Surf" wording on the side of the vehicle is more of a 2nd gen thing.

It was driving the opposite direction, but it didn't have any of the added extras that the surfs have. I think it was a bluish paint with a taninsh bottom. I wanted to take a picture, but I was driving. It definitely was a 3rd gen though.

You mean like driving in the wrong direction on the same side of the road?
