[SURF RUNNER]

My 4Runner and I are headed to the sunshine state! I start my new job June 22nd. I look forward to meeting some of you South Florida members.

Thanks for the comments. Back in 2010-2011 I lived down on St. Thomas and in Puerto Rico for a year and a half total. I'm looking forward to get back to the beach and the tropics (close to the tropics anyway). I also look forward to meeting single women in Miami. I am leaving a college town where you can feel old if you are over 25.

I've lived in Los Angeles, Dallas, Austin and Houston... traffic sucks in these cities too. I'm not too worried about it. I don't plan on having a very long commute anyway. I'm looking forward to living in a major metropolitan area again. For me all of the advantages of living in a big city outweigh issues like traffic.

It's funny how people differ. I don't see any advantages to living in a big city and cannot stand traffic, etc. Anyway, good luck with your move, and new job. Hope it all works out well for you! Time to raid the FL junkyards for 3rd gen parts now haha

I will be managing an apartment property adjacent to the University of Miami. Initially I will be staying at an airbnb in Coral Way. Sometime in July I will find and move into an apartment somewhere between Coral Gables and Brickell.
