Surprise in the GF's Tahoe.

Last night i helped fix a flat tire on my girlfriends 96 Tahoe. Today she got it fixed but didnt have the shop put the spare back under. Got home from work and she was putting the spare back under her truck, thats when it got interesting! :wow: She noticed some leaves sticking out above where the spare sits flat. She started pulling and pulling...and pulling! Then a rib bone fell down and soon after, half of an eaten corn cob. Then some rusted-out pieces of the vehicle! :jaw drop: My vote, a squirrel or a chipmunk made a nice little home in my girlfriends Tahoe last fall for a month when we were on a road trip in the 4runner. dang! Made quite the nest.. I don't get why there is a bone though, squirels don't eat meat lol

About 3 weeks ago I found a dang rat nest in my intake airbox.. complimentary of the deck plate mod. Needless to say, I keep it closed now.

Looks like that stamped metal piece makes a nice well for rodents to hide there.

What year is her Tahoe? If it's from the same era as 4th gens, then I guess Toyota owners don't have to feel bad about rust.
