Suspension advice after adding bumper

Hello everyone, I hope you all had a nice Thanksgiving weekend. I just need some advice. Hopefully I'm still on time for some black Friday or Cyber Monday deals.

So I currently have an 01 4Runner Limited with these suspension:

Front springs: 99 tall springs
Front shocks: KYB KG9025

Rear springs: OME 906
Rear shocks: Bilstein HD 4600

Note: I just recently added an aftermarket bumper (100lbs) from 4xinnovations.

Here are my current measurements from center of hub to fender:

Front: 20.5"
Rear: 22"

I am looking for a new set up for my front suspension as I noticed the front is now lower than the rear (the rake was good before but I feel like it will sag over time due to the extra weight)

I do NOT want more than ~2" lift where I have to modify or install other parts or extended stuff. This is my daily driver and I don't off road or tow. But Michigan roads is like light offroading if you count all the potholes and bumps we go through every day.

Questions:

I was looking at these front coils and shocks:

- Adjustable Bilstein B8 5100 | Part number: 24-248730
- OME 881 Coils

1) Will these be a good fit for my current rear set up? Anyone running a similar set up and how did you like the ride so far?

2) What are your suggestions?
I do not have the budget for Kings or Icons.


3) Do I need my rear suspension upgraded as well once I get my rear bumper replaced?


I'd like to add that:

-I'm looking to add a matching 4xinnovations REAR basic bumper in the future (no tire carrier etc). It's the one that is similar to stock and can fit the spare tire in the bottom.

-I am also NOT looking to add anything else heavy up front in the future like a winch etc.

Yes I was looking into that as another option.
But I wasn't sure what the coils are rated as vs the 881

Do you have this set up while having an aftermarket bumper?
If so, can I trouble you for some measurements to compare like what I have above?

If you are happy with the current front end spring rate, just get the 5100's only and put them up one notch from the bottom. It'll lift you ~0.75" from your current front height, which is probably about what you lost when you put on the bumper. The front springs (if OEM) don't really sag with time.

Another option is a 1/4" top spacer on your current front suspension, which will get you about 0.5" lift. That would be really easy and cheap. Any more than a 1/4" spacer and you'll need to get longer top plate studs, which is a pain (requires disassembly of the shocks).

I forgot to add that I'm actually adding a stainless steel skid plate (10ga) from SRQ Fabrications which is currently in the trunk. I think that's around 50lbs that's going in the front.

That's totally up to you! Your front is still above the standard stock height of most 3rd gens, for reference.

That 100lbs you added to the front is about 5% extra weight on the front - not a huge amount (~3900-4000lbs stock weight, slightly more than half on the front).

The coils are 600 lb. I have Schrockworks front bumper but also have additional weight of full skid plates and rock sliders. The 6112 are adjustable so measurements would depend on what it is set at. Here is a picture of my set-up fully loaded. And for reference, I only wanted a 2 inch lift.

I previously had Tundra (5 perch) bilstein 5100s and OME 881s on my '96 with a CBI hybrid front (at least 100lbs)

With that setup, 881s on the second perch, i was sitting at ~22" hub to fender.
It handled fairly well...not too much diving with braking and corners.

FYI 881s are roughly a 500lb coil. 883s are roughly a 600lb coil.

I switched to the 883s because i went a bit higher without preloading the 881s even more. 883s on the second perch, im sitting at ~24" hub to fender.

If I went with what I said above vs the 6112 set, the 6112 is only $100 more.
