Suspension Issues-Tacoma Spring

Hello all.

Recently been having some issues with a creaking/squeaking noise coming from the front driver side.

A little backgroud; I have a 2006 2wd with Tacoma TRD springs/Bilstein shocks, and a daystar 2" spacer.

Been running this setup for several months without issue, until the other day when I started having a bad creaking noise.

I sprayed the lower control arm bushing with some silicone and that seemed to help quite a bit, but it only last a few days that starts squeaking again.

Here is a shot from my alignment that I got today.



I see that my caster is still not in spec, which is probably because I still have stock UCAs.

Would longer UCAs fix this issue?

Your alignment guy sucks. He made your alignment much worse than it was when you brought it in. Aftermarket UCAs will make it much easier to align properly, but you need to find a different shop.

Alignment is unlikely to fix any squeaking noises, unless your LCA bolts were loose.

I have a feeling they rushed it since I brought it in close to closing.

Either way I'll just find a different Firestone.

When looking for aftermarket UCAs, are there any specific type I should look for or are something like a all pro with uniballs gonna be long enough?

Any aftermarket UCA should have extra built in caster to make up for the lift. Total Chaos, Icon, All Pro, Camburg are all GTG. I wouldn't do SPC/Light Racing (again), or the eBay knockoffs.
