This is NOT a group buy thread (once I figure it out and get some initial interest from both members and vendors; I will open an official GB thread in the for sale section).

This is merely a discussion and trying to get some leads from you guys, what are the brands and products that you guys may be interested to see in a group buy. Many of you probably already have suspension/lift, so maybe, maybe for a GB, some less specialized, more popular for newbie stuff are more appropriate.

I don't know much about suspensions, so I don't even know where to start....

Also, please send me some idea as to who are the good "dealers/distributors" that I may want to go talk to.

Yes you should ping us you silly bastard. I'd be in for some different shocks. I know I can speak for OME coils and tell you that they're awesome. I read a lot of people's concerns about the stiffness of the mediums and the heavy duty ones and can say that they're not as bad as people think.

it would depend on the savings.... they are a bit too proud of their product.

Icon is pricey, and I cannot determine the reason for the price uplift vs. other brands. That said, I am interested, but discount dependant. I have used OME and Toytec previously and great results. Have you tried manufacturer direct yet? Inside reps my have options that distributors do not...

I'd be interested in an economy minded lift like 5100's and good coils or OME. For the price of Ikon I'd go with Fox or 6112/5160. I'm not looking for anything for serious trail use. I just need something to handle extra weight and improve on the stock suspension/looks/clearance.
