suspension lift

I am a new owner of an 88, 22r, 5sp, 4Runner. I am looking for a small (2-3 inches) suspension lift for my truck. I do not want to spend a lot of money, but want something decent. Can someone direct me in the right direction? I am mostly going to be playing in the mud and a little bit of trail ridding. Thanks for the help

Basically the only suspension lift available for IFS is the type that uses ball joint spacers. This lift is crap compared to what you could do with a solid axle, but it is all you will come up with. They retail around $700. It won't sovle anything with the front end, just make it higher. It will lift the rear, but they will most likely send you a set of blocks that you could buy at autozone for $25. You would bassically get something to the extent of a body lift. Sorry if I am bashing IFS, but I did the swap on my '86 and it was amazing. I have a friend who had a '91 with a 4 inch lift, like the one mentioned above, and he said that it was basically useless. You could always lift the rear with a set of leafs, say 3 inches, and leave the front the way it is. I ran this for a while when I was boycotting the IFS lift. It performed great in the mud for what it was and was no slouch on the trail either. My 2 cents.
