I don't think I need a coilover suspension like Downey offers. I'd like to do a spacer lift. I'm having trouble deciding between Cornfed and Revtek. Cornfed's rear blocks are aluminum and it states on the cornfed website "Aluminum block are VERY prone to breakage." On the other hand, Revtek uses plastic. I guess I'd rather have aluminum. Who makes a better product? I was thinking 3" of lift. Also, what kind of shocks do you guys recommend?

Unless I'm mistaken, I don't think Larry (Cornfed Suspension) has any spacers for the 4th gen 4runners. He last asked me if I knew anyone near him that would be interested in lending their truck for a demo kit but no word yet.
The only alternative choice right now on the shelves are either Revtek and Daystar. I think Daystar kits are about 200 bucks while Revtek's are 300.
Both are the same poly-whatchamacallit material.
Personally I'd go for the Cornfed just because this guy is a toyota nut and I'd much rather support the small guy. The only problem is that he doesn't have anything for us yet so you're kinda stuck w/ either Revtek or Daystar.

As for shocks, NOBODY has any shocks for the front. The rear, you can go w/ any mfg but for the front, you're gonna have to wait.

I just bought a Revtek lift for my "MASTER-YOTA" and it works great! The kit was easy to install--took about 3 hours with a few good friends and the lure of Pizza-n-Beer. The rear brake lines should be replaced though as the stretch quite a bit when the wheels come off the ground. I have yet to do this! All in all I am very pleased with the results. If you don't plan on jumping your truck like the General Lee, you will be fine. If you do, I would suggest the Downey coil-over. Best of luck! I installed the OME 881 up front and 891 outback, changed also the shocks/struts to OME. Total lift was 1.5" Front 2" Rear.
Maybe a little taller. I do notice I sit taller than a stock 3rd Gen.
