Suspension Question - Clarification Desired

going with the same lift soon. im only 2wd tho. btw, would trekmasters work good for the 881/906 lift setup? 99% highway. no offroad since im only 2wd.

My 99 also has this rough ride. Does not appear to be any rear sag as it sits level front to rear. With regards to the bump stops, what is the normal distance between them with a factory set up. I am looking to replace the shocks, found Rancho RS5000 for $42 a piece, Skyjacker Hydro 7000 $41 and Nitro 8000 for $44. 99% on road, minimal off road. Any suggestions/ thoughts. Want to keep it at factory height. If needed, where can I get replacement coils.

Is there a difference in the ride between the SR5 and the Sports, both 99. My brother has a Sport (Highlander) unlifted and it has alot smoother ride.

Good questions. Where are you finding your shocks at those prices, if you don't mind me asking?

I'd also like to know where you are getting those prices for shocks. I don't mean to hijack your thread but I also have a few questions.

1) Where can I buy replacement bumpstops for front and back?

2) I have a 3" coil lift in back and spacers up front, I'm looking to replace the front spacers with a coil, what coil will give me a 3" lift?

3) When buying new shocks for a truck that has a 3" lift can I just buy replacement shocks or do I need special shocks? Do I need adjustable shocks?

econhonda, what kind of tires do you have and what pressure are they at?

Tires have a major impact on ride quality.
