I am trying to decide which shocks to install on my 03 4runner. I have had Bilteins on my regular cab Taco but my wife thinks they rode a little hard. (Perfert for the dirt roads IMHO) Since we have 2 little girls in the back seat, I am a little reserved on the Bilstiens too. I have 8 ply BFG all terrains and those did seem to stiffen the ride so any harder and the wife will not be pleased. Does anyone know if the Bilstiens on the Trail Edition will be any softher then the HD ones straight from Bilstien? I am also considering doing a lift / leveler kit, so any opinions on the 5100 series? Their website said they are good for 0 to 2.5 inches of lift. I would install them now and do the lift later. These are just my ideas, hopefully someone can tell me if I am heading in the wrong direction.
