Suspension Squeak run over speed bumps

I have noticed some squeak sound coming from front side suspension when my TE running over speed bumps with some speed. Does anybody experienced the same? It does not squeak when drive over the speed bump slowly.

I have an SR5 and I took some speed bumps last week, got a 'squeal/squeak' when the front wheels hit. I was like what the &*%^ was that?! After hitting a few to me it sounds more like the tires squealing (rubber) not anything to do with the suspension, with mine at least. I would love here some others out there though. I was not cruising across them but I was not taking them like a gramda either.

My tacoma makes the same squeaking noise and I don't think it's the tire rubbing up against the suspension... It's probably your CO's or rear springs.. I recently replaced my rear springs with some deavers. I noticed the truck still squeaks when I hit bumps... I am pretty sure it's your CO's.

Thanks for the info. Excuse my lack of knowledge, what is "CO"? Is this issue we need to worry about? What options do we have to resolve it?

CO = coil overs. could be bushings needing greased up too

In two visits to the dealership when I was doing 5k and another services, I had asked the dealer to look at the squeak sound issue. Both times they claim they could not reproduce it. The second time I asked them to spray some lubricant to the sway bar bushings. I think they just sprayed some on couple bushings in outside area.
But the squeak is still there when run over bumps with bit faster speed.
No sure how could I isolate the sound source.

Sorry to resurrect this but I'm having the same issues in my 2013 TE with about 7k on it.

When hitting a speed bump at any speed other than creeping it squeaks. It was playing a concert on my drive back down from the Grays and Torreys trailhead this morning. Sounds like its coming from the passenger side and I swear I felt it through the brake pedal this morning.

I'll probably schedule an appointment with Toyota tomorrow but anyone figure out what it is and does anyone else have the issue?

Mine does the same thing, but from the front left side of the suspension. I get it all the time when off road and when I go over a speed bump/through a drainage dip, especially when off-camber. I can't figure it out and dealer said they couldn't hear it. Of course they also didn't fix the other three things I needed done either!

lube up all the uniballs/ball joints/bushings on your upper/lower control arms/sway bar front and rear/trailing arms/upper arms/panhard bar. basically anything that will move up/down or side to side when the suspension moves, and you should have solved your problem.

My squeak is still there. However, it disappears when it is raining or lots of water on the road. I guess it is the bushing. It did not get any worse or better.

I have not worried about it for 2 years now.

Hey Everyone,
Not sure if this is the same noise as you all, but I have been hearing a squeak when ever I go over a bump in my 2013 Tacoma, it sounds very similar to the issue discussed here. I have had my truck at the dealer three times so far, the last time being this morning. They replaced this and that including my rear shocks this morning.. but you can understand my frustration that as soon as I hit a bump on the way home.... Squeak!! As soon as I got home I crawled under my truck just to see if I could find the soruce of the squeak, like I have done several times in the past. Just as I was about to abandon my search yet again, I hit the spare tire.... Squeak! More hitting and shaking produced the exact same squeaks I have been hearing for months. So I lower the spare tire and take a look at the lowering system.. which is nice and rusted. Not having a grease gun handy, I just used some motor oil and a brush to lube everything up. I cranked the tire back into place and went to find me some bumps. And just like that the squeaks are gone, I'll be getting a grease gun tomorrow so the lube job lasts. Hope this helps you guys.
