Suspension Upgrade Question

I posted this earlier in a "Sticky" thread, and I got no replies.... so I'll try again here.

I ordered up new FJ springs and 5100 Bilstein struts/shocks for all four corners. I've already replaced sway bar links recently.

For the most part, has everyone been able to re-use the top plates on the front struts along with any other rubber isolators and hardware that are already installed with the stock SR5 setup, or should I order new hardware and top plates?

Thanks. Plan on knocking this out on a Sunday at work and I won't be able to run out and source new parts if I run into something.

If I had an 06 4runner I would inspect all hardware for cracks before installing and reusing the originals or just buy new ones.

Front shock replacement bushing/washer kit

I would replace them.

Thanks for the quick replies. I do in fact have about 148k on the original setup. I've replaced the sway bar bushings that were worn out when I did front wheel bearings. That's all I've done. Looking forward to seeing some ride quality improvement with the new Springs and shocks/struts.

Yeah if you're already dropping the cash and have to remove them anyway, might as well replace them. Rockauto has them for a great deal
