I have a 2004 4Runner V8 with 80000 miles. I am going to turn it over to my wife who has a bad back. Should I replace the shocks and struts and what is an estimate on the cost? I would have the dealer do the work.

Also does anyone have any suggestions or hints on what to look for etc ? Thanks! Mike

Spoke to dealer. He said about only thing I can do us make sure I have Michelins on it. They are the softest tire the 4runner can use. The only time I 'be been off-raiding in this vehicle is when I accidentally run over a part if the lawn when backing out of my driveway
