swapping for 5th gen rear lower links.. worth it?

Just like the title say's is it worth it to swap in some 5th gen lower rear links on my 2003 4runner? are they an upgrade from whats on the 4th gens stock? will they fit? :hat:

They might actually fit because Metaltech's part numbers for the 4th and 5th gen are the same. Even if they did though, they wouldn't be an upgrade. They're not any stronger, not adjustable, and not offset for longer travel like aftermarket. You'd be better off welding some angle iron to the bottom for extra protection like some have.

Thanks.. You just saved me $50 and 2 hours time. Guess I'm just going to have to wait for some aftermarket ones to float around.

hahaha... good sell.. I was actually talking about the lower trailing arms links.. But I think you just sold me with the extended sway bar link plug also.. They were on the back of my mind...
