Swapping out my OEM running boards

I just purchased a set of tubular running boards off of Ebay. I got the ones that come with frame mounts. How hard is this going to be to install? I would only assume that I get my butt under there and unbolt the OEM's and bolt the new ones on. Sound right? I only paid $46 plus shipping for set of these. Quite cheap as they seem go for over $200 on other website. The link stated that they are OE equip. We'll see.

Yes, it is a snap. If yours does not come with instructions, I can post a PDF of mine. It includes torque specs and everything.

I think I know the auction you are talking about. I got the rocker panel mount ones instead. From the pictures he posted for me, Cleric also has the rocker panel mount ones.

I'm curious as to how the frame mounts look and how hard the install is, and would appreciate it if you could fill us in when you get them on.

The step bars from that outfit came in Toyota part boxes, so I'm thinking they are OE quality. The Bars are very nice and so are the rocker mount brackets.

I rec'd my boards yesterday and they look great! Havn't installed yet though. They are OE product. One question to anyone, what is the different between frame mounted board and rocker mount? How are the OEM boards mounted? I was told they were mounted on the frame which is why I bought the frame mount one. Hopefully this will be an easy install. I am starting to get a little worried...

The oem running boards are mounted on the rocker panel. The tube step bars with the rocker panel mount, mount in the same location as the oem running boards. Sorry but I have no idea how the frame mount mounts. If you open the small box there should be instruction in there with all the nuts and bolts.

I have the frame mounting kit but unsure if the holes are already in the frame or if I have to drill them. If I have to drill them I don't seem myself doing that so I will have to get a rocker mounting kit. Anyone know whwere I can get that reasonably priced if necessary? I just want to make this easiest as possible.
