Swapping out T-case tomorrow

Never done this before, so besides the "One Thing" that always seems to be a problem on any repair job, like 1 bolt that won't come off or breaks, what should I expect? It is an '85 with around a billion miles on it. Looks pretty corrosion free underneath.
Are there other typical related issues I should inspect for?
Any "While you're there you may as well...." suggestions?

If it's for the manual trans, it's pretty straight forward.

Yep, manual it is. Looks pretty strait forward, just wanted to be sure it is as simple as it looks. Should be a fun day! After the repair is the Bumpers/ external cage project. Again, no experience with it, but it seems reasonable and fun to do.
