These links will work on lifts up to 3", and add an additional 1" to the overall length. The links are over sized, a lot stronger than OEM, and NO DRILLING IS REQUIRED.

What's the difference between a double disconnect and single?

Here are some pictures to help everybody with the install. These are front links on a 3rd Gen, but it's the same process for any other Gen.

This is how you should receive the bolts in the box.

Step 1. Install the reducer.

Step 2. Slide the bolt through the heim. (picture 2 with boots)

Step 3. Put on the cone washer. (picture 2 with boots)

Step 4. Slide through bolt hole, put nut on back side, and tighten.

How about a warranty that says if any piece breaks w/in 5 years you will send the part (say the joint) at cost price. ?

I've found that one of the benefits of custom links is that they are longer and return the sway bar articulation to normal after you have lifted the truck.

I have not found the quick disconnect to be that useful. Rather, with proper length extended links you don't even need to disconnect them.

Some like the option of being able to remove them and not worry about it. I started doing the double disconnects for the 4th and 5th Gen guys on the front since they are a little different then ours.

The warranty is certainly a good idea! I don't think I've heard of any style link breaking before, so it's probably a safe bet haha.

I have not found the quick disconnect to be that useful. Rather, with proper length extended links you don't even need to disconnect them.

And then there's guys like me, who won't even consider hooking my sway bar back up unless I have disconnects on both ends haha.

Edit: I was curious and did some searching, and it looks like some guys have broken stock links before. The warranty sounds even better now, although I would definitely have mine disconnected for wheeling, so I don't think I'll have to worry about it :thumb:

Blue bushings are fine.

I think I'm gonna order a set, but can you post a picture of what the double disconnect looks like when disconnected (i.e. what is left behind on the swaybar?) Just something to illustrate what you said in post #4 since I'm more of a visual person

Essentially you have the pin on the top on the sway bar in the rear and on the lca in the front. The bushings and a small stud will be left on the rear frame mount and the sway bar in the front.

Does the stud with bushings mount back onto the link body by threading on, or is there some sort of quick release mechanism?
