these look simple enough. i think i can make some, but i donk know if the duribility will be there. i will play around with this a bit this weekend

just take your front sway bar off. Its fine without it.

I have disconnects, but rarely ever unhook anymore. Once you get locked it makes much less of a difference.

To disconnect the front end links:
Take ratchet with 3/4" socket and remove top nut
Pull Hitch pin on bottom mount then slide entire end link off.
I take both mine off in about 5- 10 minutes and same to put them back on. I will try to take pic's for you later.
+1 My truck has full skids (including gas tank), sliders, aftermarket f/r bumpers, and winch and it does just fine on the road. The only time I notice it is off is on long offcamber fast turns, like freeway onramps. :driving:

if you wheel, you definitely will want to pull a link
since john is a pavement pounder..he should have it. i think it is a bit more tippy but i have 4Runner not a Porsche so i drive it accordingly

You also had crappy suspension with broken sway bar links..
I had the same problem, sway bar links make less of an impact when you have good tight suspension.
body roll can be controlled alot with new coils.

Mine seems to be fine without the sway bar, but what do i know. I have an arb bumper, warn winch, sliders, and other stuff and it handles good. If you drive it like a truck, not a honda civic you will have no problems. I have Coilovers in the front, but i doubt that it handles different than any other quality suspension components. (ome lift, toytec coils, ect.)

Hi, sorry new to this always have tinkered with yotas in woods. Now it's getting serious, my little girl is almost here. I recently purchased an awesome 98 4runner limited edition. I am running 33's on a three inch lift. It doesn't have any sway links at all, and for a safer vehicle for my family I would like to get them. I've read oem will work up to a 2 inch lift. I've looked to contact Mike but the recent posts I've not seen any replies.... So does anyone have any ideas to my problem? Quick disconnects would be awesome, but I don't know if necessary. It looks like for wheeling, looks like with a socket and a few minutes I can take the regular links off? Any assist is appreciated.
