Sway bar removal question

I want to remove the front sway bar and leave the rear on. I know it is easy to do so. My question is with slightly gained articulation and droop does one need to run extended brake lines before removal?? I have an 07 with 3/2 lift.5100 billies, front set at 0 and ome 884 up front, 5100 with superflex's in rear..

all will be fine if you are not having issues with brake line stretch now.

But... just to cover your bases, jack the front up so the suspension is unloaded after you remove the bar, if your lines are tight :) replace them

You should be fine, I've run with and without and settled on leaving it on. Don't expect a real dramatic change. Just my 2¢.

I am not a fan of running no sway bars, even with 700# springs. That being said, I also recommended that you check the wires for the ABS sensors with wheels turned and at full droop. I ripped a wire just by bleeding the power steering fluid with the wheels off the ground. You could certainly achieve that scenario wheeling, too.

I don't think you would get any additional droop... but you would gain more independent articulation since the sides are no longer linked.

I never had a problem with stock lines, but I did go to +2 stainless steel braided and feel the additional length without the need (LT, ET, Arms) for them makes for a sloppier since you have some length of line that wants to coil...

You'd get a smidge more droop compared to stock sway bar links. But nothing worth writing home about.

I'm running extended travel Icons in the front and haven't torn a brake line yet without the sway bar. I'm not easy on my rig either and may have caught air once or twice by accident, haha. I did upgrade my rears but that's only because I'm running the Metal Tech long travel springs. With 5100s, you're not going to get enough droop to even notice it. Not sure how stiff the 884s are, but I was fine running 5100/885 in the front initially as well without the sway bar.
