Sway Bar/ Suspension Squeak

I'm relatively new to the forum and came across a question that I thought some others might be able to check for me.

I've got a 2019 SR5 with 27K and noticed that when getting out of the vehicle that the suspension makes a very slight creak noise. If I grab the roof rails and rock the 4Runner back and forth I can get it to be fairly pronounced. But, it is dead silent when on the road.

Does anybody else have the same squeak/creak in that scenario? I'm pretty detail oriented and this is my first new vehicle. Just trying to figure out if it is worth having the dealer look at while still under warranty.

Just wanted to post an update on this. I’m actually sitting at the Toyota dealer now and they told me there is a TSB for the squeak and they had go to in and lubricate some bushings.

Makes me feel better that it is a known issue.

Which bushing? Do you know the TSB#?

Unfortunately they did not reference the number on the paperwork. They did go in and check the bushings/lube.

Ultimately though, what ended up being the main noise was something with the housing/bracketry for my emergency brake cable on the frame. They greased pivot points and had to tighten a couple things and then noise is completely gone now.

my 2019 with 12000 miles has developed multiple squeaks after doing 2000 miles of Arizona and New Mexico backcountry driving ranging from packed dirt to graded gravel roads to actual offroading on chunky rock. The windshield has been squeaking since about 7000 miles, before I ever took it offroad. but there's at least two new squeaks. drives me bananas, my 98 squeaked like 3 orgies happening simultaneously on a 80 yr old spring mattress on a walmart bed frame on a hardwood floor in a 112 yr old house. I was so glad to be rid of the squeaks when i got the new one, and now it's squeaking too. (not to mention the extreme pinstriping and cracked windshield, but hey, i didn't buy it to let it sit in the garage or crawl the mall).

My situation is similar. I didn't put as many miles as it sounds like you did off road but I did spend a week in the Badlands last summer and then went through a salt filled winter.

I did a few hundred miles of Moab off road trails in March and it was fine. I got about halfway through doing the AZBDR before the creaking started. I'm now finished with the AZBDR and NMBDR and it's squeaking like mad. I'm hoping it's just due the insane amount of dust my vehicle picked up driving through the desert on dirt for over two weeks. speaking of which, really wish I had a tan interior right about now
