Im lifting my 2000 SR5 and was contemplating getting some swaybar disconnects from wabfab. Any opinions for or against it. Im lifting the 4r 3 inches and not planning on doing any extreme terrain in the immediate future.

I made mine for my 03, it cost $1.60 plus tax. I simply took the sway bar links off and drilled holes through the bolts on them and put pins through them (.40 cents a piece) to hold them on. Make sure the holes are as far up the length of the bolt as possible so they are tight (I drilled the holes while the links were mounted to achieve this).

$3 or $4 is a lot cheaper than the wabfab ones for $135 plus shipping, I'll just have to make sure i watch out for the boot 
What is your ojective for the disconnect??
For flex?? >> just let a tire lift off a bit!! (turn on lockers & traction)
For smoothing out a rocky rough trail?? Greatly reducing air pressure works much better than disconnecting. If you still need more smoothing, then think about it.

Mainly for flex. I would love to turn the locker on but i dont have one, so when i say im stock i mean really stock. I still havent completely decided for or against it since i am still saving for the lift. But with my old jeep the disconnects made a huge difference.. so i was hoping it would make the same amount of difference with the 4runner.
