Spent the weekend in the mountains cutting firewood, bucked up just over 4 cords. Winch came in handy for pulling the trees out of the bush. Had the undercarriage rust proofed before the weekend and the company that did it had it detailed inside and out when I picked it up. Nice of them however only short lived at least the inside is still relatively clean for now.

Winch and mudflaps just arrived.
Are those mud flaps the expensive urethane ones or the cheaper ones?

200W/120W Solar Blanket Test today
Very happy with the results, tested the 200W & 120W Solar blankets, both fold up to the size of a laptop or smaller and weigh only 13.6lbs & 7.9lbs.
I tried to max the 200W one and had it charging my group 31 battery, Yeti 400, Dometic 65L fridge/freezer and 8 USB devices all plugged in to the Yeti, Voltage regulator on the back of the blanket, solar charge controller, 1 USB in the cab and 1 on the fridge. Yeti had max Watts in and the solar charge controller was keeping the Group 31 topped up. Very very happy with these. New mobile office. Laid them out at different angles on the vehicle to find the best charging position, the angle of the window was best however I was impressed with how it charged hanging off my rack as well.

Awesome night out with the new set up
Had a great night out testing the new Echo RTT/Annex Room & 120W Solar Blanket. Tent fabric was so thick I slept in until 830am, being I thought it was still dark out, I never sleep past 6am. Perfect weather and great view of the moon.
Snorkel came in handy, had to cross 2 swollen creeks, and the jeep ahead of me without a snorkel got water in his air intake and was dead on the trail.

Question on your Baja rack - do you have the supplemental cross bars for your Yakima cargo box or are you able to mount directly on the roof rack?
I'm also assuming it's not the mesh top on the Baja rack.
Amazing scenery. I'm due for a road trip to cooler temps.

I did buy the bajarack bars for the Yakima cargo box and ended up not ever using them being I did not like how high they were. So I just measured the diameter required for the Yakima attach points, and wrapped Gorilla tape around to create the mounting point. This way the cargo box was a bit more streamlined. Also I did not go with the mesh top.

Tested out the Dometic cfx65 this weekend with the Yeti 400 and running off of the 4runner battery. Testing at home showed that the Yeti is more than capable to power the fridge/freezer and that as small as the Nomad 28 solar panel would charge enough daily. Unfortunately when I tried using it in the field it had some sort of electrical issue with the 12V connector so I was unable to run it all weekend to verify. The good news is that I was able to test my new group 31 battery running the fridge/freezer. Ran it for 15hrs straight at -11C(Beer was nice and chilled) and the battery dropped from 12.6V to 12.1V, so am happy with that. Removed the bottom part of the rear seat behind the drivers and it was the perfect space for the fridge/freezer. Have another Yeti 400 at home, so will run the dometic during the week to see how long it lasts and what is the smallest size solar panel I can get away with to charge it during the day.
The ARB add a room and awning was able to withstand some crazy winds we had on Sat night, was worried at first when I saw an awning off of a camper trailer blow off.
How is the fridge attached/held on when placed in the back seat? is there space to tie it down, did you build some type of platform or is it just sitting there?
