Swing out Bumpers and Lighted Plates know how

So those with the swing out bumpers and moved license plates, how do you wire them up for lights?

Snipped my tailer harness and tied them in there; comes on whenever the headlights are tripped. I think Timmy and Sean recommend the same

I used a t-tap connector on the passenger tail running light wire and ran some wire loom up to the spare tire. This led trailer license plate light bracket is what’s illuminating the plate and I just zip tied it to the spare until I figure out a permanent mounting solution. Preferably on the swing arm once I figure out how I want to make and attach the frame to mount it to.

I bought a pig tail that plugs into the trailer harness and wired the lights into the tail light connections there. This way there was no cutting of wires on the truck. Only downside is when you tow a trailer your license plate lights won't work on the 4Runner since you have to unplug it for the trailer, but I'm not worried about that and I don't tow very often with the 3rd gen.

For the lights I used some bolts with LEDs in them I got from superbrightleds.
