Switchblade for 2001 4R Limited

Of course, my gf has lost 2 sets of remote AND keys so we're focusing on NOT losing the last set while I find a replacement. I don't need instructions on programming the remote, I just want to see if you guys have any experience with iKeyless as a vendor and if anyone is using this product.

I'm thinking about getting this key and remote combo (since I need to replace BOTH :dammit.

From what I've read through this forum, some ppl have issues with the spring wearing down, but I consider myself pretty handy so I think I can fix that, if necessary. Does anyone have this switchblade? Any thoughts you'd like to share? Should I just stick with the tried and true separate factory remote and key?

Never tried one but I can tell you that they are cheaper on ebay:

I would definitely try the switchblade before picking up an oem key and remote if I was in your situation.

Geez, what is wrong with me today. I did a search on ebay and didn't find them anywhere. I guess I'm frazzled because (confession coming) I'm responsible for losing AT LEAST one of the keys!

I had one of those keys, it broke on me after 3 months. Not worth it at all. I'd stick with OEM all the way.

it started cracking right at the pivot point when i would use the key, and then eventually cracked the entire casing in half. It was the worst mod I ever bought till this day.

Yeah, I need to get a new one also. A couple of weeks ago I was up at Mt. Hood and lost my main set of keys somewhere on the mountain.. Had to wait 2-3 hours for my spare to get there at 12 o'clock at night :X
