K K.C. New member Sep 20, 2010 #2 I know Synthetic isn't required or stock on the 4th Generation. Unsure on the 5th Generation. I noticed a bunch of the new Toyota V6 still use the old 5w30...but the 4cyl version of those cars us 0w20 Synthetic.
