My argument with this is the lovely overused word of xenophobe in the past 2 weeks. That is all. I agree we should help these people, I just believe there to be several other avenues of assistance on top of what we have already done besides just bypassing our immigration policy which now puts others on the back burner who have been legally waiting/trying to become citizens?

It is way too easy to say how others are heartless, isn't it? DannyLlama has remained silent to the above questions. ndcent too. You guys talk a big game but when asked logical questions, you guys cowardly look the other direction. Why is that?

For me personally, I'd be more encouraged to answer these "questions" if you didn't come off like such a cunt.
 
Am I the only one here who gives two shits less about folks in other countries and their plights because it's their own people doing this to them? I honestly don't care about the people in the rest of the world. We waste to much damn time worrying and trying to fix everyone else's problems instead of fixing our own. I say we pull all of our aid and all of our funding from the rest of the planet, lock our borders, let the rest of the world fall apart, and then go in and take whatever we want. I'm sick of being the damn life line for the rest of this planets poor and weak. When are we going to quit interfering with Mother Nature and let her do her thing and quit trying to save every single soul on the planet? I know I have a cold and bastard vision but damn folks. I don't see the rest of the world helping us with our problems. Why should we help them? It's like always stepping in and solving a child's problems instead of letting them figure it out for themselves. Sink or swim. We could learn a thing or two from nature.

I won't disagree but I think the US played a significant role in creating the current environment in the mid east. As a Canadian, I could not fathom the destabilization of Iraq other than the control of oil angle. The cost is still going up........

we have been giving millions(billions?) in aid to countries that eventually ****ing try to kill us. **** them all.
