Here's what my system currently consists of:

Eclipse AV8022
Kenwood Excelon Components Front and Back
Audiobahn 2200HCQ 1600RMS @ 2ohm Mono Channel
Audiobahn 4025HCQ 1200RMS @ 1ohm Four Channel
Audiobahn 5 Big Farad Capacitor
JBL W12 GTI ( two )
Custom Fiberglass Ported box @ 30hz
2 AWG wiring all the way around
Optima Yellow Top
Direct Ipod Line

Tell me what you guys think, if I should improve on anything etc...

by the way, I hit 155.7db

The subs are currently at 1.5ohm getting near 1800RMS

Great system, but I think it would be cooler if you could sink the amps into the floor (or maybe even bring the floor up) to clean up the look a little and do stuff to get everything blended better. Personally I think the flames on the audiobahn stuff is too flashy, but it must sound amazing.

If your worried about the looks, then I would raise the floor like Mike suggested. That would really make everything look a lot nicer and give you the finished look. It looks like you dropped a bit of money into this and so you might as well finish it up right.

couple questions:
did you run 2 gage wire to your speakers? If so, did you have trouble getting the wire into the doors? Any problem getting 2 gage through the firewall?
Also, you listed your 4CH amp power at 1ohm. Do you actually have a 1 ohm load from your kenwoods? If so, how did you do it?
Thats an impressive system. I totally agree with the false floor. Otherwise, you will have completely given up your cargo area.

Thanks guys for the response, the reason my installer did that with the amps is well to tell you the truth, I have no idea, but it looks better in person, believe or not hehe. 2 awg was no problem for my installer, I asked him to do 0 awg but theres was quite some trouble through the firewall. my ohm load on the kenwoods are at 4ohms so the speakers are receiving 150rms each at the moment. the gauge on the subwoofer is 10 awg. The reason I chose the JBLs are they have an excellent blend of SPL and SQ. Even at 1.5ohms, I can still listen to alternative, and rock music without having the weird out of sync thing going on.
