T4R.com Got Me In Trouble!

So the other day at work I was trying to checkout T4R.org but accidentally typed in "T4R.com" which reroutes you to "UltimateGirl.com" which is apparently a pornographic website specializing in transsexuals. Anyways, I guess I got flagged because it was at work and had a blast explaining it to my boss this morning.

Just wanted to share and warn everyone to be careful when typing in the website.

Google or Bing everything while you are at work at least. It can still get you in trouble based on the search results but it could keep the

That is kind of bad, they purposely got that site to confuse people. My wife once went to "whitehouse.com" instead of "whitehouse.gov" and got a porn site. That is not what she was looking for.

I popped in the XXX movie soudtrack a few years ago at work. Windows media tried to download info about the album, but my work filter flagged the XXX. Fortunatly I never got in trouble for it.

Right after Christmas I saw one of my friends wives made a post on Facebook, her post was this

"A word of advice: if you are trying to spend a ****'s sporting goods gift card online be sure to remember the web address is NOT ****s.com, especially if your children are in the room."

oh and even funnier were all the replies to that mostly from women that have made that mistake,

How come so many women would make that mistake and so few guys?? seems odd...

Our filter at work gets all that junk, and apparently they shut down the link page on Myp2p.eu... so no more live sports.

Good thing next Tues is my last day here at this company.

lol thats still a porn site? I remember back when I was in 5th grade (11 years ago), we had to do a research project about the white house. Every kid in my class went to Whitehouse.com....... lol.

thats sucks. i'm the IT guy, so we catch a lot of fools googling porn and other stupid stuff all the time. We are running opendns and untangle utm's now, which is blocking a lot of the blatant porn sites.

During the impeachment of Clinton I accidentally went there to find the minutes from the hearing. They had so much traffic from others like me that they actually had a big banner that linked to the correct page with the minutes at the top.
