T4R engine rebuild

Well, the old girl (1987 DX) has 290,000 miles on it (no rebuilds), and i am thinking of a rebuild. she still runs great, not burning oil, i can tell that she is just getting tired. decided to ask you pro's out there what the best rebuild is for her. i want a perfomance kit of some sorts. any tips would be awsome, and where can i find a real nice kit. i want performance everything. thanks alot!!

I haven't rebuilt any of my 4runners but I have drooled over some of the stuff you can buy from LCEngineering.com. Maybe you could start your search there.

LCE has some nice stuff, but it's way $$$

Check with engnbldr.com for some reasonble stuff.
