T4R floor mats shot/need new ones

I have the Toyota all weather mats , 2 years they are shot and have holes rubber in the ribbing. It soaked my carper underneath and smells moldy. I'm cleaning it up .

Need new mats what should I go with ? Weathertech ? I need something that cleans up easy and preferably no carpeting on the mats .

Anyone have any other idea's . I'll do a search also .

If you have some pic's and how much you paid , where bought. Other ideas welcome.

I would go with WeatherTech mats. They don't have all of the annoying ridges that the Toyota ones do. I hate cleaning mine, so I'll probably change out my Toyota ones as soon as I get my color keyed grill.

I got my husky liners on sale for $53 shipped. I got them from Performance Products. The link provided is for 4th gen sport 4runners. I wanted weather techs but I'm in college and couldn't justify the cost.

After doing some searching I'm going to order the Weathertech floor liners for the front.

Dont really need them for the back seat . Also don't want to spend $100 on a cargo liner.

What happened was the ridges wore out at the top and they are hollow on the back side.

can someone tell me if the WT floor liners are flexible or are the harder plastic ? I dont want something slippery.

I believe that's one of the complaints I have heard from them .They are more of a hard plastic, and people have pointed out that it needs a more rubbery surface for grip.

Thats one thing I really like about the Toyota all weather mats is the have a thick rubber and are not slippery.

Although all those ridges make them hard to clean in winter , summer is easy with a hose.

I'm going to a truck center tomorrow to see if they have a set so I can check them out before I order them.

i'd go with the WeatherTechs. i got them for my Pathfinder (front and back) and they rule. they're a hard plastic yet they flex. i don't find them slippery at all but i think it depends on what shoe you're wearing.

my Toyota All Weather mats wore a hole where my heel sits by the accelerator pedal after 2.5-3 years. i just put two folded paper towels underneath the hole and it helped a bunch. i eventually gave them to my brother who has an '07 T4R Sport when i replaced them... i'll let him deal with that crap, haha.

i actually think the Toyota mats are more slippery than the WeatherTechs, but again... depends on what shoe/sneaker you're wearing at the time.

Are you talking about just the front part of the mat wore out? I still don't know how you wore that out in 2 years (must have worn cleats or something everytime you got in? ). I've heard good things about WeatherTech and Husky.

Also, I will take those front mats off of your hands if you're selling them. :bigok:

it was the diamond plate looking part towards the front of the mat that wore out. everything else is very durable.
