anyone know if the camry moonroof switch sunglass holder w/ the homelink will work/ fit into the 4R cause it look 100% like the one on the limited 4R.

Though I have never actually measured it, the homelink piece in the Camry looks identical to the one in the 4Runner. That is the first thing I noticed on the loaner Camry I had. The only thing is I didn't have the guts to rip it out of the Camry investigate further but all of the lights/buttons are the same.
I was thinking of trying to switch the homelink piece in my Limited with the one on the GX470. They look the same in size, but I don't know if the wiring is the same.

It is the same. At least on a 2004 4 Runner and 2003 Camery. My sister replaced her Camery sunglass holder with one the same one I ordered for my 4 Runner. A word of warning. You do not want to order the Camery unit if you want this in a 4 Runner. The cost was about 3 times the price (Even at Associate pricing) of the same 4 Runner part. If you search the Accesory forum for Homelink you will find the 4 Runner part numbers and locations to purchase them from.
