T4R Telluride - Ouray Tuesday Pathfinder Outdoors Run

This is for anyone who wants to join up for an early run on TUE (16th).

We will leave Telluride @ 1:00pm and run Imogene Pass back into Ouray.

Here is an overview of the trail. It is considered easy/moderate and we will pass through 2 old mining towns, and summit at over 13,000 feet.

Important Note:

According to the 10 Day forecast, Ouray and surrounding areas will be rainy the entire event. Last year when the rains came, it caused three mud slides during Summit. One in Ouray across from the water park, one on Blackbear, and one at the bottome of Yankee boy basin.

It is important to have with you wet weather gear, food, water, and dry clothes. If you are not comfortable with a trail....dont do it, you have nothing to prove.


I think I am going to open my "T4R" run up to all participants of the summit. I'm packing some free stuff up there to give away and I don't want to haul it back.

Be safe, and if you have questions about the summit and what to expect, please feel free to ask, I will be more than happy to help in any way I can.

Made it....got into Ouray around noon, we will be trying to hit some trails before the rains shuts them all down.

too bad (for me) that I won't be up there until the week of the 23rd; would have liked to have joined the group runs...

We are having breakfast at Hotell Telluride (best hotel I have ever stayed in CO)

And then it's on to mountain city for a hike and then I will be at Clark's in Telluride before 1:00 for our small group run.
