t4rFL's Build

I have been really bad with keeping up with these forums, I did some maintenance and broke some things, but no regrets.

Busted up my fender and tore the flare off, currently my winch is giving me problems, but Smittybilt sent me a free Solenoid which I have yet to install. I also need new rope for the winch, borrowed the rope from my truck winch for the time being.

I also lost my job back in December, so times have been tough, so it will be a while before I started modding the 4runner again, I do need new tie rod ends so that is priority and cheap to do.

Good ole Southern mud. Spent countless hours cleaning the undercarriage of my Bronco years back. Good luck on finding gainful employment.

I'm going to try to update this from over 4 years ago. Might be a little out of order or I may forget something. Still have my 4runner, just a little more beat up from 2019 lol

This was Sep. 2019

So not in any particular order these are the mods I did in 2019:

Had a blowout on the highway, at some point after this I bought new Mastercraft Mud tires...but they were 'Blemished' tire. The dealer did not point this out. So basically for thousands of miles I had trouble balancing a few of them. Good thing I never really daily'ed the 4runner.

2020 Mods

Yellow bumper/fog lights
rear lights mounted to the spoiler
replaced my rear hatch struts and my starter
I bought slightly used Bud Build full skid plates
my muffler had a hole in it so I replaced it with a Walker Quiet Flow muffler
Raingler Ceiling Net (used to keep pillows and sleeping bags out of the way)
Rear Window MOLLE panel

January 2022 - I lost a rear spring offroading and broke a rear shock because of it.

new OME rear shocks
TMR limit straps to the rear
4xinnovations Sliders
replaced my dash lights with LEDs
My fender flares were bugging me always coming off, so I swapped the limited style for the SR5 style
replaced the starter again! damn water crossings.

I also replaced my driver side fender with a cheap aftermarket one. Big mistake. every bump I hit it rattles, because it's a cheaper and thinner metal. I still have that fender, one day I'll find an OEM from the JY.

May 2022 I sold my daily driver, the Ram 1500 4x4, and bought a 2006 Tundra SR5 4wd to replace it. The Tundra needed some work, didn't even get to test drive it. Towed to my buddies shop and fixed it over time. Saved a lot of money doing it that way.

Fall of 2022

Took a trip to the Georgia mountains, followed pre-recorded backcountry tracks, the whole way up, not one major highway, kept to mostly dirt roads too. We camped every night except one, due to equipment malfunction. And hiked to waterfalls.
