That's probably what it is. They were both nominated last time. Too many sick builds on the forum to keep up with all of em. That and we're a year or so behind on doing OTMs.

Very very tough choice, I had to go with Clownmeat, I can not possibly imagine all the wiring that went into the paddle shifters, and the turbo is pretty original for a 4runner, you don't see that too often. But, I do appreciate all the work that went into everyone else's rigs, keep up the good work, everyone!

Todd aka Crazydubman got my vote because I have seen his Runner do some major stuff with only very minimal mods! Good luck Todd!:reddance:
Example: Look at the flex on his Runner with only a spacer lift and those are 35" tires as well.
Check out his build thread from start to finish and see how he created new ways to mod his runner without big money involved.

Thanks for the mention, SCRunner12! It's cool though, Ripcord and I were nominated and went up against blcktpgsr in the last 3rd gen go-round last year. Unfortunately for us, we both got stomped by Mr.T4ROTY.
I think Clowmeat was a nominee in the last 3rd gen month too, but it's good to see some new faces/nominees in this month's contest.
As for my vote... I'm hard pressed to decide. Brian2sun's build has been one that I've admired over and over as I've learned about 3rd gens and it's one of the most capable rigs on the forum. I watched his get built up while mine was still a baby. ARKRWLR'S rig is mean, and well used. Dirtco's is one of my favorites of all time, and undoubtedly one of the finest rigs on the site. Crazydubman has done the most THIS MONTH, IIRC, and has one hell of a build going. And then there's good old Clownmeat with his mad scientist build.
In the end my faves are Brian2sun and Dirtco. I've gotta pay tribute to an O.G. 3rd gen, so I went with Brian2sun.

ARKRWLR, I couldn't even believe what I read in that negative post. Seriously makes me wonder how each voter comes up with their final choice.
Clownmeats stuff is awesome, but you have to be blind to think the other rigs only have bolt ons.

BFAD, you took the very words outta my mouth on how I also came to choose Brian2sun as my candidate for T4RoTM. His rig's been a very invaluable resource and as you may, inspiration and a constant reminder leading to my choice on some of the components I put into mine. Also a great contributor of knowledge to the site. Visit my thread and as I mentioned......everytime my brother in Cali and I have a chat, Brian's rig has always been a topic of discussion. So thanks man for making an impact on my rig.

Wow, thanks guys! It really is a cool T4ROTM this month! Who cares if I win or not, lol. And Dirtco does have a pretty commanding lead at this point, lol.. and he deserves it too! But I'm just honored to be nominated and I really appreciate what you and Stockwell45 and BFAD and Driffter and Hepar said, and it's definitely a mutual feeling! I've also learned a ton from this forum and have been inspired by you guys and many more.. J-Money, ARKRWLR, 4Ripcord, LINY, Haddix, MillerPKA, Dirtco, Proudrunner, COB, SteezeMcqueen, Downpour11, Duhockey, bak3rme, Izzard.. more than I can even name.. and all badda$$ 4runners and great guys!

I looked through your build multiple times, (along with everyone else on your list :fro: ) when I was building my 4Runner. This website and it's members have been a huge resource not only for myself, but for everyone else out there. I feel honored to be nominated, and know such a great group of people!

i went with brian2sun over dirtco simply cuz dirtco already has plenty of led lighting....it was a tough decision

I guess DIRTCO's 4Runner does ok for being "bolt-on"

All are awesome rigs, with plenty more on this board that deserve mention. I wish I had half the talent these guys have. Voted for Dirtco though. I constantly read and re-read through his build thread and its just nuts what this guy can do. Plus its not a color you see everyday.
