Thanks man. I know I promised it to you. Here's the skinny. 1985 4runner, 86' factory turbo, dual t case, 5:29s, bobby longs, superior rears, Detroit rear lock rite front, TG bumpers, AllPro sliders, full roll cage, soft topper, 315/75/16 Goodyear MTRs. 4" All Pro leafs, 8" rear end. Street legal.

Goes like hell, sounds and goes like a tractor, so we call this Toyota "Kubota".

There no build thread because it's a mismatch of what so many have already done.

I do like that rig, though. Nice clean rock crawlers make me happy. Why the Ford rear?

No Ford rear end, it's the rear axle from an 86', they are 3" wider and the diff is a little bigger. I misspoke on the 8.8".

Besides it would not be fair for me to be in this one since others actually have build threads on theirs and I don't.

im gonna nominate COB, he has a sweet and rare 1st gen turbo runner, and its clean. not only does he have that one, but he has a couple others but i think his 1st gen deserves to be in the running.

COBs is pretty close... He has a slightly built motor -still stock platform, and its been and is a junk yard salvation/restoration...
