If you check out partznet.com, do a search for your truck, then the navigation system is located in the electrical section, there are two components, the display unit ($482.79) and the module. ($3557). You can probably get a cheaper aftermarket system. That site is probably the cheapest you will find for Toyota OEM Parts. Good luck

IMO this is one of the best aftermarket systems. it gives you an OEM look but the HU performs much better if you're looking to also upgrade your sound. and you can play dvds and there are extra a/v outputs for more monitors. go here to see it:

I agree with going aftermarket and the system above is nice...
what unit will work for 2003 4Runner LE
Thankx for everyone for reply my post, I've checked that oemvalue.com site and they have 2005 Camry Navigation Unit and I don't understand that this unit will work in my 2003 4Runner or not, does anyone knows about that.
I do not have JBL in my 4runner and they have Three Packages To Choose From, does this means that I should choose package #1 (http://www.oemvalue.com/request/toyotanav.htm) ?
I am really confused here

Yes, that's correct. If you don't have the JBL sound system, then the Camry navigation system will work.

Yes, that's correct. If you don't have the JBL sound system, then the Camry navigation system will work.

Great info! I have a 2003 SR5 without the nav system. I also have a lead on a nav system from a 2003 limited. Is this a 'plug-and-play' switch if I want navigation in my SR5? I found a head unit, but after reading this thread- do I need to locate a module as well? Thanks for your help!

No it is not a plug-n-play swap. YES, you will need more than just the head unit.
The 2003 nav display had a separate nav unit which gets mounted in back. So not only would you need the head unit, you would need the nav unit. THEN you would need to get the JBL amp, the JBL speakers, the JBL sub and sub box, the correct rear trim piece for the navigation unit and subwoofer, and all the interconnecting wiring and connectors.
GO AFTERMARKET. You will have much less heartache. The OEM definitely is not worth it.
EDIT: Ok, I shouldn't say it's not worth it. The units are very nice over-all. However, aftermarket units offer so much more without as much effort to ensure proper function, and normally for less money.

One other thing which may be an issue, but I doubt it in your case, is the center instrument trim.
Toyota felt it was necessary to make two different trim pieces dependent on the radio that is installed. I think you will be ok though. When I had "gotta have the OEM navigation unit" bug years ago, I actually bought the trim piece for $300. Oh yeah, then I had to find a climate control unit too - because, of course, that's different too. That I lucked out on and found one fairly cheap. In the end, I removed all the JBL and went aftermarket.
