T8 Head Unit in Limited

I cant seem to find the answers, so bare with me. Been searching.
I was dealt this unit upon purchase, and two things I am not sure of.
Its a limited with JBL. So, does this T8 head unit have an amplifier that is causing bass to be heavy? Equalizer is useless.
I bluetooth Pandora into the unit and it is just heavy bass. Pandora is set up for highest audio quality, and when turned off , no difference.
And Android Auto. With a USB, it wont connect using easy link app on the T8.
Do I need a android auto dongle instead?

The EQ doesnt change much if anything at all. I will play with it some more.

how has the T9 been for you? Pros/Cons , considering a T10 model.

Just checked the settings. In "Zone", in EQ settings, you can turn subwoofer down.
turned it and loudness down. Much better.
