Reason Im asking is my Daystar 1.5" front spacers dont look like they are holding up to well after just one year.

They look like they are ready to pretty much blow out from the sides.

And I think they are causing a sqeek in aswell.

Now I found some front leveling kits for the 96-04 tacoma ... Does anyone know if they would fit the 4runner aswell? (front only )

Other option Im cosidering is buying OME front springs and just drop the spacer concept..

btw, Im trying to keep this as inexpensive as possible.

Thanks

Only difference I am aware of is the 3 holes drilled on the upper strut frame mount are rotated a few degrees. Everything else is the same.

This would be my choice. Why install a partial fix system that relies on factory springs, etc.? Just my 2 cents.

Ya but ive already dumped alot of $ into this truck, dont want too and just cant afford to dump anymore.

I wish I went with ome the first time around, but I didnt ...

So im thinking swap in steel front spacers for $60.

But on the OME springs topic , would I be able to run my rancho shocks/struts ? or will I have to upgrade those aswell. cause the springs cost I might be able to swallow. but a hole new setup I cant do..

Well I certainly understand spending $60 as opposed to $600. As far as the Ranchos go...can't answer that but it seems I have read a thread where someone used those. I have the Rough Country Nitros in my set up. Haven't been able to install them yet but will this weekend along with other maintenance stuff. I can let you know how they ride.
