Looks like the weight of the 99 is around 4k (per google), and the 4th Gen should be good to tow 7,000 so mechanically you should be good. My only concern would be towing that weight/distance with no prior towing experience.
You'll want either a winch or a come along to get the existing one on the trailer, unless there is a small grade and you can pick up a tiny bit of speed to roll up onto the trailer.

Has anyone done the Tacoma swap using a Bilstein 6100 kit? I assume it yields the same 1.25"-1.5" front lift from just the springs but want to confirm.

Thanks, looks like I mixed threads up when posting.
I have Tacoma fronts (4600's) on mine, any lift yielded comes from the springs normally, with 5100's etc that have adjustable spring perches making up for a little more lift as well.
Are you looking at buying new Tacoma specific stuff, or is there someone selling a used Tacoma setup that you're looking to install on your 4R?
