Hey Guys,
Im looking to replace my the old suspension on my 2001 4runner 2wd. I found on craigslist a set of OEM 2000 tacoma 4wd shocks and was wondering if they would fit? I can't seem to find a definitive answer using the search utility.
Thanks

from my understanding no or at least 1/2 of them won;t work can;t remember if it's front or back, i bought a set of tacoma trd shocks for $20 and had hoped to use them but found out it was a no go. i'll look for the thread i started about it.

don;t take this as an absolute answer as of yet as i can't remember clearly what the definitive answer was, lol ;-)

Thanks guys. Hopefully the fronts fit, as they seem to be the most expensive. Hopefully I can pick these up in the next week and i can have a definitive answer.
188,000 miles on original suspension is a little rough.

Found a used set of Bilstein Tacoma shocks with part numbers
Front: F4-BE5-D558-T0 with coils
Rear: F4-BE5-D559-T0

I understand the rears have a different mount, but can someone confirm the fronts will bolt right up? Are they the same ride height/ride quality?
