TAG bumper? Any comments?

Shipping is going to murder you on anything as big and heavy as a bumper. Aren't there a couple of big shops in the DFW area that could do the work?

I was fortunate to find a guy around here who was relatively local (He was in Aspen, about 200 miles away.) I arranged to have the bumper built while I was on a trip so I picked it up while passing through on the way back. Best of all, he installed it for me!

I know he had wanted to start building them professionally, but I never found out what happened to him. He posted here under the name MTN.RUNNER.

I have gotten nothing but compliments on mine.
 
^ seems like Martinjmpr and I got extremely limited edition bumpers. I was scrounging around on craigslist one day and saw Mtn.Runner's T4 for sale, said he was moving out of the state. Too bad.

About 8 years ago now I bought a Kennesaw Mtn bumper for my Dodge, somethin like $800 shipped. It was a beast, fabbed around a big ass square tube of structural steel. Got it in around 6 weeks or so. Had to drill the mounting holes and supply my own hardware, and it damn near fell on my head during the install, but those were the only downsides. Too bad to hear about his business practices; he had a solid product at a great price.

Not sure if it's the app or what, but no luck finding him. I'll have to try from a computer later on.
 
my center hoop demello cost about $1200 shipped to houston. the wait was about 2 1/2 months. it really wasn't that bad.
