tail light brake bulb out but bulb is good

Is it a common prob when the tail light brake bulb won't lite even though the bulb was replaced?

Fuse in front is good.

Ideas?

socket or wiring. Does the running light portion of it work? Just not the brake light?

look at the socket where the bulb goes into. make sure the tabs inside are not flat. if its all good. get a volt meter to the socket and see if you have power

Bulb is good. Swapped with the other side. Problem is the power is intermittent. Dunno why.

Hi Rock,

Is it the 3rd brake light you are having a problem with? If so I have the same problem and I have since noticed that many 3rd Gen T4R's are driving around without the 3rd brake light working.

I checked the socket and the wiring where it connects to the socket and there is no power there. All fuses are good. That's as far as I have gotten.

Anyone had this problem and solved it?

Same Problem

My one tail light, amber bulb, works for the signal light but not for the brake light. Weird. Fuse is good. any ideas.
