Tail Light Gap...normal?

Hey, I did the bumper light mod today which came out GREAT, but when I was reinstalling my tail lights...there was a pretty big gap under my right housing. Is this normal? I can see my wiring from my bumper light through it. My left has a gap as well. However, I wouldn't feel comfortable flying a 747 through the gap in the light light, the right though...thats huge! Maybe some of you can take a look on your rides and see if this is normal?

Did you purchase GAP insurance when you bought your 4Runner?

Actually this looks normal. I have a gap too but because I have a dark color it is not noticeable. Actually I did not notice until it was pointed out

Haven't had my '03 apart but less than 1/8" with the left maybe a bit more. Is there a tab or something not back in place on yours?

No... as far as I know I put all the parts back. Thats not a bad Idea though...maybe I can glue a little tab on there.
