Tail light Hookup?? For Towing the T4R

I need to rig up my new 2008 4WD T4R tail lights so I can Tow it behind a MH. It looks like it did come with the new LED tail light.
Does anyone know what works best for the 2008/LED T4R?

Can I tie the MH wiring directly into the T4R tail light wiring? (Tail & L/R blinker) Are things diode protected so no damage will occur to the car electrical system?

I'm assuming this new LED fixture will be too small to drill a hole and insert the typical large tail light bulb which could then be wired directly to the MH and therefore isolated from the T4R wiring.

Has anyone already done this or at least knows the T4R electrical system well enough to advise me?

PS: Not to worry, I will install the drive shaft disconnect for towing.

Thanks very much for this. You never know how much help a little comment can help someone.

I looked at these and really liked them. I contacted the developer and we worked out a deal. Hopefully, I can help him with some ideas on how to better attach them to the back side of the 4R as well as others. I don't want to put them on top.

Hopefully, my set will arrive this Monday. All the other tow gear arrived last week. I need to have it ready to tow by next weekend.

Well that's very cool!:D Thanks for the kind words and I hope you guys work out a good mounting system.

A wide, removable, trailer hitch step/cargo basket in the 4Runners reciever might make the perfect place.

No, problems. Waiting for them to be replaced.
I think their working out some bugs or I just got a bad set.
