Tail light sockets question

Hey guys looking for a second opinion on a wiring harness/bulb sockets for the newer style tail lights from '01-'02. Got them off a wrecked 4runner and somebody cut off all the bulb sockets and left just the wiring..I then later came to find out my flasher/turn signal sockets won't turn in.
I've found some part numbers on a toyota parts website but I'm not 100% sure if their correct. OR if anybody has any laying around PM me I'm interested in taking them off your hands. Thanks again guys! Here's what they look like.
(Couldn't pass them up and let em get crushed!)

Okay, so there was a change in the wire harness because the later model used different bulbs. You have 2 Options...
  1. Get the right harness for the cleanest setup. The 2001-02 harness will plug directly to the existing connection behind the interior quarter trim panel. You can buy the harness, part numbers 81555-35240 (RH) and 81565-35200 (LH) at the dealer or Ebay. Or you can search again at the junk yard for cheaper?
  2. Splice a new 921 socket for the reverse light (original was 7440). The main light/brake and turn signal should be the same? I believe the 1996-00 turn signal was a clear 7440 and the 2001-02 is an amber 992, but basically the same bulb. More work but less cost.

Hey thanks for the reply. I'm glad I got a second opinion on the subject. I ended up getting the oem tail light harness from both sides and sourcing the reverse bulb sockets from a xterra, and the turn signal/brake light sockets from a '02 lexus rx350. I had to dremel the 2 smaller notches in order to get it to turn in but they all fit snug and I can't beat $6 for 4 bulb sockets and some wiring. So if anyone else is trying to do this these sockets WILL work with some minor trimming.

Cheers!
