hey guys, i recently found the wires that needs to be tap into, so the window can roll up and down with aftermarket alarms, but the thing is this, if u want to roll the window down, it will unlock the car, and if u want to roll it up it will lock the car, this is a cheaper solution to buying that module from dei. but this is what u guys need to do, are u guys ready? heres hows it done, u guys have to know how to take the panels off the sides of the trunk, also willing to run some wires, all u need is 2 wires, but throw in some extra, i did like 6 incase if i want to add back up can and stuff, also u need to take the panel off the tailgate, first u see that once the panels are off u see a box, unscrew it so u can take the cover off the tailgate so u can run wires through, now on the tailgate take the rubber thing off , its at the top left, thats connected to the truck itself, get the 2 ends off, now heres the run part, get some tape and wd40 and a thick long ziptie, tape the wire to the ziptie, then spary the loom with wd40 as lube, next try to fish the wire thru, remember if its a lil tight take it out and spray more wd40, also done spin the wires together if u use multiple wires, let it loose but make sure its tape to the ziptie, once u get the wire thru the loom, fish it own the tailgate, also dont roll the window down since u need to have access to pull the wire in, also try to pull the wires to factory grommet location, once ur done in the tailgate, run the wires thru the front of the truck, also ziptie the tire , use the driverside so u need to take the kickpanel and sill plastic, so run it to aftermarket alarm, now guys, ill tell u the wires to tap on the window box in the tail gate, if u have everything back together in the tailgate, looking upward, u need to taop 2 wires on the buttom of the flat plug with the more wires, its on the buttom left, i think its a purple color one, but its side by side, remember to roll the window down with key, it makes a round on the lock itself, so to test get a pice of wir, long enough to touch the body grownd, next u tap the wires i told u guys erlier to comfirm it to roll up and down like the key doing it, itll work, ull find the right wire to tap, use buttconnectors instead of t taps, now ur done, next is wire it up to the aftermarket alarm, i have a 2 way compustar, and its programable, must have it program to latch instead of pulse signal, also the signal needs to be atleast 5secs long to make it work. make sure the aftermarke alarm, aux channels will give out a negative output for those channels, since all we need is ground to complete the power signal of the operation.
sorry for the long post, hope this help u guys , those who wants to do the window up and down with remote, for me this is better than trying to find the stock keyless signal to it also, will save some money from buying the window module which is up to 80.
