Tailpipe rust

My tailpipe is starting to rust. What's the best way to keep it from rusting?

Not really much you can do, if it rusts through have a new pipe welded to fit, not that expensive.

if it hasn't rusted through yet, just get some hi temp paint, sand off the loose rust and spray away!! i used some black rust-o-liem (sp)?? paint and it's great. it's lasted almost a year now like that.
