Taking off roof rail stickers

is this as simple as just ripping them off or will it leave a discolored area

You can rip them off but there will be some leftover "goo" (if you will ). Just grab some ProSol (spelling? ) and wipe it down and it will come off easily. Another product is goo-gone. Anything like that will take the extra stickiness off.

I used a hair dryer and Goo B Gone. They were in a PITA to remove though.

I have an 06 sr5 and there are 2 stickers on the right rail (if your standing in front of the truck). They are just instructions for tying down stuff on the roof. I haven't gotten around to taking them off yet. I plan to tomorrow after the lift is installed.
